The state government has ordered immediate removal of all bumps installed on all asphalted roads in the state.

This is contained in a public service announcement signed by an official of the Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. Anthony Nweke on behalf of the Commissioner.

It stated that according to a statement from the office of the Commissioner, Ministry of Works, the directive is in line with recent Exco resolution to protect the life span of the road infrastructure and permit free flow of traffic.

The announcement therefore, calls on Presidents-General of all town unions to expedite action in this regard in their various communities, as failure to comply will cause the state government to stop all government projects going on in the affected communities.
