Communities in Idemili South Local Government Area have endorsed Senator Victor Umeh and All APGA candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Council Area, Mr. Don Unachukwu made this declaration while receiving Senator Umeh and his Campaign Team at Nnokwa, Awka-Etiti and Nnobi, among other communities that make up the Council Area.

Senator Umeh’s community tour to Idemili South council area witnessed empowerment of twenty-two women with fifty thousand naira each.

Presenting the money to the women, Senator Umeh called on all the eligible voters to play their role to ensure sustenance of dividends of democracy by voting all APGA candidates in Anambra State during the election.

He noted that his representation at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly over the last one year has given a voice to all the Igbo nation, adding that such is what is expected of every Legislator.

On their parts, the APGA Acting National Secretary Mr. Cambel Umenzekwe, Transition Chairman for Idemili South Council Area, Mr. Don Unachukwu and the APGA candidate for Idemili South State House of Assembly Barrister Chuka Ezenwune noted that Senator Umeh won the Senator of the year 2018 Award due to his impact at the Red Chambers.

They pointed out that he is the best senator Anambra Central has produced over time, adding that the support of Idemili South towards his re-election is not negotiable.

Others who spoke during the tour including the representative of Igwe Emmanuel Ajamma of Nnokwa, Chief Richard Okelu who is the Traditional Prime Minister of Nnokwa, the President General of Awka-Etiti Development Union, Mr. Joachim Okeke, the Idemili South Local Government Secretary Mr. Nnaemeka Orji, Chief Mike Omenugha, Mr. Emeka Nwolisa among others urged Senator Umeh to continue his good work as his Victory is already guaranteed.

The member APGA Board of Trustees Dr Mrs. Uju Okeke, Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Mr. Ferdinand Onwuje, among others, were among Senator Umeh’s entourage.
