The Senator representing Anambra Central in the National Assembly, Senator Victor Umeh has empowered sixteen Women in Alor, Idemili South Council area as he restates commitment towards effective, bold, transparent and courageous representation at the National Assembly.
He restated this while speaking at Alor Civic center and Ogidi Town Hall in continuation of his campaigns in Anambra Central District.
The Tour which featured voter education as well as empowerments and account of stewardship by Senator Umeh, attracted APGA BOT members, Political appointees, Town Union Executives, and was rounded up with a courtesy call to Igwe Mac-Anthony Okonkwo of Alor and Igwe Alex Eze Onyido of Ogidi.
Speaking during the tour, Senator Umeh who is also the APGA candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the general election, urged the youth and politicians to ensure a violent free elections calling on the electorate to vote APGA candidates for good governance and effective representation.
Speaking while paying allegiance to Senator Umeh, the President General Alor Peoples Convention Honorable Okey Elosiuba and his Ogidi counterpart, Chief Chuka Onubogu who commended his excellent performance at the Senate and the good governance by the APGA government led by Governor Willie Obiano, assured that their support and vote is not negotiable.
On his Part, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political matters, Honorable Ifeatu Obi Okoye who viewed Senator Umeh’s representation as second to none, called on Anambra Central to maintain their stand by voting massively for APGA during the elections.
Some of the Beneficiaries of the Fifty thousand naira women empowerment including Mrs. Evangeline Egwutuba and Mrs. Ebele Onukwo while expressing their joy, prayed God to bless Senator Umeh and called on people of Anambra Central to Vote APGA candidates for the benefit of all.
