The state Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha, has charged students in the Anambra state public and private secondary schools to participate in the 2019 Cowbellpedia Senior Secondary Mathematics Television Quiz and win laurels to prove that Governor Willie Obiano’s massive investment in education is not in vain.

A release from the State Ministry of Basic Education states that the dead line for the registration is Sunday, February third, 2019.

It advised public and private secondary schools in the state, to mobilize and register their best JSS3 and SSS2 candidates for the competition.

According to the release, each school in entitled to register five candidates who must be between the ages of ten and eighteen, for the junior and senior categories respectively.

The release, signed by the Public Relation Officer of the Ministry, Mr. Nnaemeka Egwuonwu stated that registration is online and free of cost at www.cowbellpedia.ng.

The release further encouraged mixed secondary schools to nominate a minimum of two female students for each category, in line with the deliberate efforts at encouraging girl child interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics courses.
