Governor Willie Obiano’s Thank You Rally to the Twenty One Local Government Areas of the State has come to an end.
The Governor Obiano Wrapped Up the Rally with his visit to Atani in Ogbaru Council Area.
Central School, Atani, venue of the rally was filled with crowd of party faithful and stakeholders who thronged the venue to welcome Governor Willie Obiano’s Thank You Train.
The Governor embarked on the Thank You Rally, to show gratitude to eligible members of the Communities that make up the local government areas, for their efforts at returning him for a second term in office.
Governor Obiano said that the rally is one of his ways of touching base with the people at the grassroot, just as it is in keeping with his tradition of fulfilling promises.
He assured that all the campaign promises he made during the recent gubernatorial election in the State will be fulfilled, saying that he is deeply committed to changing the lives of the common Anambra citizen, and called on the people to vote for APGA candidates in all elective positions in the coming elections, as they will help him to work and deliver on his promises.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Party, Chief Victor Oye described the party as a movement that is on the move to give ndi Igbo a voice in the scheme of things in the Nation, saying that just like other tribes of the Country, ndi Igbo should unite to advance their cause.
The Wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano cautioned ndi Anambra against working for other parties as APGA is the only party with clear cut ideologies that have the capacity to translate to better and improved life.
While enumerating several infrastructural projects in the area, the Commissioner for Works, Mr Marcel Ifejiofor, represented by the Managing Director of Anambra Road Maintenance Agency, ARMA, Mr Emeka Okoye said that a vote for APGA candidates is a vote for consolidation and continuity.
Earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman of Ogbaru, Chief Arinze Awogu who thanked the Governor for championing interventions to them, especially during the last flood situation, pointed out that Ogbaru is unrelentingly behind APGA, and stressed that in unity, they will deliver victory to the party in the area.
Candidates in the area, ranging from the Senatorial candidate to the House of Assembly candidate spoke and were presented with the party flags.
