The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Victor Umeh has vowed to sustain his fight to promote the overall interest and development of Ndigbo if re-elected as a Senator

Senator Umeh who was speaking during his campaign tour of Ezinato, Isiagu, Amawbia and Nise communities all in Awka South Local Government Area said he has received many awards for his numerous contributions to nation building and sustenance of democratic growth.

Senator Umeh, who noted that his motion on the urgent need to include Eastern Rail Lines in the Nigerian Railway Development Projects and to stop illegal detention of underage offenders with adults in the same prisons showed that he is a leader in touch with the feelings of his people urging
party members to come out en-masse and vote for him.

In their remarks, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, the Principal Secretary to the state government, Sir Willie Nwokoye, and the Head of Service, Barrister Harry Uduh, noted that Ndi Anambra Central Senatorial District will benefit immensely if they vote for Chief Umeh to continue his superlative and excellent legislative duties that have deepened the nation’s democracy.

Some APGA stakeholders who spoke at the event including Chief Dan Ogbuefi, President General of Isiagu, Mr. Louis Okeke and the traditional ruler of Ezinato, Igwe Timothy Ezenwaka, maintained that Senator Umeh’s performance within a short time in office remains an eloquent testimony adding that he has used his intellectual ability, capabilities and native intelligence to show quality representation

Similarly, Senator Umeh who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Prisca Umeh, empowered eighteen petty traders with fifty thousand naira each to enable them boost their businesses.

Some of the beneficiaries, including Mrs. Grace Okolo, Ezue Ngozi, and Grace Okoye who appreciated the benefactor for his kind gesture assured him of their total support.

Chief Umeh’s Campaign Train also paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Nise, Igwe Romanus Iloh.
