Communities in Dunukofia Local Government area have lauded Senator Victor Umeh’s representation at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, reassuring him of their total support for his second term bid.
This was demonstrated by the Stakeholders, youths, women and members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE) who turned out in their numbers as they endorse Senator Umeh .
Those that also endorsed Senator Umeh included the Hausa Community in Dunukofia, Community Leaders and traditional rulers, among others..
According to ABS correspondent, Valentine Mbadugha, the towns visited during the community tour include Nawgu, Ukwulu, Ukpo, Umudioka, Umunnachi and Ifitedunu.
Speaking at Ifitedunu Civic center while commending Senator Umeh’s bold and courageous representation in the Red Chambers, the Dunukofia Local Government Coordinator, Senator Victor Umeh campaign organization, Dr Cyprian Afunugo restated the Council’s readiness to
deliver all APGA Candidates during the General Elections noting that Anambra Central and Ndgbo cannot afford to lose a voice like that of Senator Victor Umeh.
On his part, The APGA Candidate for Dunukofia State Constituency, Mr. Lawrence Ezeudu who described Senator Umeh as the hope for the Igbo nation and a politician with a difference, noted that Dunukofia has resolved to return the mandate of representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly to Senator Umeh with a view to allowing him complete the good job he just started.
Senator Umeh while expressing satisfaction over the support and turnout of the voters in Dunukofia, reassured of more commitment to the service of the people, noting that his aim was to bridge the gap between the federal government and the Igbo extraction and also to make Anambra Central feel the impact of true representation.
The community tour in Dunukofia witnessed empowerment of more thirty-six indigent women with a cash of fifty thousand naira each to enable them grow their micro businesses.
