The Njikoka Local Government Area Social Development Party, SDP, has declared their full support for APGA candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Victor Umeh following his landmark achievements and impact in the Red Chambers in the past one year.
It was a true taste of Igbo unity of purpose.
Speaking on the occasion, the SDP co-coordinator, Njikoka Local Government Area, Mr. Boniface Maduka noted that Senator Umeh has distinguished himself through his outstanding performance at the Red Chambers within a short time, adding that interest of NdIgbo and the nation at large should override individual or group interest.
Mr. Maduka further called on Ndi Anambra and Igbo nation at large to support Senator Umeh for a courageous, bold and effective representation as his kind is hard to come by.
Responding, Senator Umeh who appreciated the courageous and bold move of the members of SDP assured to carry everybody along irrespective of party affiliation as he represents the entire people of Anambra Central and the Igbo nation in general.
Senator Umeh emphasized that his struggle at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly is to secure the place of NdIgbo at the national level, protect the interest of the region and also to reawaken the spirit of effective representation which will affect positively the standard of living of every Onye Igbo as well as enthrone government that will adhere to the principles of equity, fairness, justice and rule of law.
