Citizens and residents of the State have been charged to live peacefully for enhanced development of the State.

The Deputy Governor Dr Nkem Okeke gave the charge during a special mass at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area.

The Deputy Governor who harped on the need for the people to always strive to leave indelible
legacy while alive called on the citizenry to endeavour to exercise their franchise during the forthcoming elections.

In a homily, the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Catholic Arch Diocese, Most Reverend Denis Isizor advised the people to take full ownership of the Nation’s electoral process by coming out en –masse to exercise their franchise during this Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Most Reverend Isizor called for the use of the social media platform to promote peace and unity in the society.
