The APGA Candidate in the upcoming Anambra South Senatorial Election,
Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has applauded the Judiciary for once again
standing up for justice and uprightness with a recent judgment on APGA’s Senatorial Primaries in the zone.
Prince Ukachukwu was reacting to the Appeal Court judgment in his country home, Osumenyi in Nnewi South Council Area.
Prince Ukachukwu described the original suit as evident to the phobia that has engulfed other camps because of the popularity, acceptability and goodwill his candidacy commands among Anambra South People.
According to him, the suit was a collective conspiracy by the three other co-contenders of his in the election, to distract him but said the court case has actually made him realize how famous he is.
With the Appeal Court Judgment coming on the day he ended his ward
tour, the APGA Candidate said from the origin of the court case, he had continued with his campaigns in the belief that the Court will give him justice, adding that until now, he remains the only candidate that has toured all the one hundred and nineteen wards in all seventy-seven communities in the senatorial district.
He emphasized that APGA remains the only party with which Ndigbo can seek better bargain at the centre and observed that it was easier to sell his vision for the transformation of Anambra South during the campaigns because the people already know and believe in the party.
On why he is fighting to get to the Senate, Prince Ukachukwu said the
teething socio-economic issues affecting Ndigbo and the marginalization they face in Nigeria, remain more visible now than ever and if elected, he will join forces to strategically pursue the Igbo agenda in keeping with the principles of equity and Federal Character as well as push through motions and Bills, for programmes and packages that will engender a massive positive turn around in the fortunes of Ndi Anambra South.
With the National Assembly Elections scheduled for next Saturday, Prince said the victory that await him and other APGA Candidates in the zone cannot be denied, urging all APGA members and Lovers of democracy to be focused and vote massively for them in the exercise.
Meanwhile, Prince Ukachukwu’s arrival in his country home after the victory at the Appeal Court, was greeted by a massive assemblage of fans, friends and supporters who came out to thank God and celebrate with him.
