A cross section of Ndi Anambra have expressed their displeasure over the postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections by INEC.

A Philanthropist Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, described INEC’s postponement of February sixteenth general election as a huge embracement to Nigeria and said it has reduced the worth of the country before comity of nations.

He said that INEC owes Nigerians more explanation than mere logistics challenges.

According to Mr. Ezeemo, the logistics expended by the electorate who travelled far and near to perform this simple civic responsibility was immeasurable.

He urged the electoral empire to ensure they conduct credible elections on the said new dates.

On her part, the Dean faculty of Social Science Nnamdi Azikiwe University Professor Stella Okunna, said the situation was a very sad one, as it has left a bad precedence in the nation’s
political life.

An elder statesman Chief Chris Elumunoh, a former state President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in his reaction wondered why all the security Chiefs in the country were ready but the Commission which gave out the time was not ready but has been deceiving Nigerians that they are ready to conduct the election.
