New staff of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Awka, have been formally integrated into the establishment through an induction ceremony.

The orientation programme, which the primary aim was to get them informed on the workings of the Civil Service, the rules and regulations and what is expected of them was held at Corporate Headquarters of the Organization.

In a lecture, a resource person, Mr. Adebayo Adeyinka, who took participants on topics centered on basic ethics, performance evaluation and creative thinking, urged the newly recruited and ad-hoc staff to always be guided by the rules and regulations guiding the service, avoid sanctions and ensure standards and order in the service.

The Head of Administration ABS, Mrs Tina Ekenta and the Director of News and Current Affairs of ABS, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze in their separate speeches noted that the orientation was important for the newly recruited and ad-hoc staff to know the workings of the civil service as expected leaders who will take over in years to come and also to be acquainted with the rules and regulations of service foreactions fulfilling career in public service.

Some of the newly inducted and ad-hoc staff who spoke including Miss Oluchi Kalu a presenter and Mr. Chibuzor Okoye a reporter, noted that the programme was enlightening, as some of the regulations and rules were better explained to their understanding which will help them perform optimally in service.
