The National President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Chief Chris Isiguzo today (Monday, 4th March 2019) paid a courtesy call on the MD/CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Chief Uche Nworah.
During his visit, Chief Isiguzo was shown round the station’s digital studio facilities which he described as being among the best in Nigeria. He later interacted with students of the ABS Film Academy where he informed them of ongoing efforts by stakeholders in the communication industry to change the way Mass Communication is being taught in Nigeria.
He said the proposal made to NUC is to unbundle the course so that students can specialize in particular courses. He also praised ABS management for the foresight in setting up the academy and for its positive disposition towards staff welfare.

Responding, the MD/CEO of ABS, Chief Uche Nworah thanked Chief Isiguzo for the visit and said that the organisation will continue to provide opportunities through the academy for young people to acquire skills required in the new digital economy.
