The Director-General of Standards Organisation of Nigeria, SON, Mr Osita Aboloma, made this known while declaring open a training in metrological measurement in the oil and gas sector with a theme; “Oil Metering Station Performance Evaluation Using Uncertainty Tools’’ at the National Metrology Institute, NMI, Enugu.
Mr Aboloma, represented by Mr Bade Obayi, Director of NMI, said that the training of trainers for the purpose of its stepping down to different department was necessary compared to the large scope of oil and gas sector especially in a developing economy like Nigeria.
