The State Deputy Governor Dr. Nkem Okeke has called on Ndi Anambra to vote en-masse for APGA candidates during this Saturday’s House of Assembly election.

He made the call during various meetings organized by the State Government at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat Complex and Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, for Public and Civil servants, as well as All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA executives from three hundred and twenty-six Electoral Wards across the State.

The Deputy Governor reminded the people of the need to retain APGA relevancy in the state, which according to him has proven its mettle and deserves unalloyed support of the State residents.

Dr. Okeke maintained that this Saturday’s election remains the most important for the Governor and for continuity in the distribution of democracy dividends across the state, and called on the APGA Ward Executives Public and Civil servants in the state to vote and mobilize support for the party to ensure landslide victory for its candidates in the election.

Speaking earlier, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Victor Oye who recalled the condition of the State in the hands of other political parties before the emergence of APGA, urged Ndi Anambra not to give room for the return of such era.

The state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Jerry Nnubia commended the worker-friendly disposition of Governor Obiano and promised on behalf of the workers to massively support APGA in the state House of Assembly election.

The event afforded the executive members of APGA the opportunity to discuss challenges they faced during the February twenty-third Presidential and National Assembly elections and as well chat ways of winning the forthcoming State House Assembly election.
