As Ndi Anambra perform their civic responsibilities of voting for those who will represent their various constituencies in the State House of Assembly election today, stakeholders have appealed to them to see the exercise as paramount to the growth and development of the state.

Speaking on the significance of electing good leaders that will join hands with Governor Willie Obiano to take the state to the desired level, Dr. Paul Okeke from Isiagu said that Ndi Anambra have became politically alive not to be deceived by money bag politicians or godfathers.

Dr. Okeke acknowledged the numerous sufferings being experience by Nigerians and maintained that Governor Obiano who is at the herm of affairs in the state is doing marvelously well and said that wrong choice at the polls today will plunge the state back to the time when people dread coming home.

Mrs. Angela Nwogbo is of the opinion that Ndi Anambra are ready for the day’s elections said that the electorate know the candidates one on one and therefore will make right choice at the polls and reminded INEC of the need to remain objective during, and after the polls as failure to do so will create disunity among the people.

For The Apostle in charge of New Covenant and the presiding Archbishop of Master Seed College of Bishops, Professor David Okafoagu, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC should handle the State House of Assembly election with the fear of God, assuring that the church will continue to intercede for Nigeria and advised Christians not to lose faith in God.
