Anambra electorate have been urged to see their participation in today’s election as an obligation which is pivotal to their empowerment and the upliftment of their communities.

The Anambra state Director National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mr. Charles Nworji stated this while briefing Journalists in Awka.

Mr. Nworji advised the electorate to vote for credible candidates for meaningful development, encouraging them to continue to be orderly and peaceful at polls, to sustain the violence- free and optimum security record for which Anambra state is known.

He commended them for turning out en-masse to participate in the February twenty-three Presidential and National Assembly Elections reminding them that the process is not over yet, until after today’s election.

The NOA boss appreciated security agencies and their personnel for doing a nice job so far and urged them to conduct themselves in the most noble and exemplary manner today in order to win the confidence of the electorate and also secure their faith in the ability of these agencies to ensure an orderly and peaceful electoral atmosphere devoid of intimidation, rancor and suspicion.

He also commended the political gladiators for their maturity so far, urging them to see the state House of Assembly election as a fair game in which winners and losers must forge beneficial collaboration for the development of Anambra state.
