The Federal government has deployed a combined team of soldiers and mobile policemen to the Nandu Gbok village in Kaduna State, where gunmen killed nine persons, and burnt more than thirty houses.
Police say the combined force will ensure that there is peace in the area, and the perpetrators arrested.
It would be recalled that gunmen attacked the community last Saturday, and shot at villagers.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killings.
