Nigeria’s Super Eagles finished the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on a high after defeating Seychelles 3-1 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba, Delta state yesterday evening.

The team took the lead thirty-five minutes via a penalty from Odion Ighalo before Roddy Melanie leveled the score for Seychelles in the forty-one minutes to silence the home crowd.

However, at the resumption of the second half, Henry Onyekuru extended Nigeria’s lead to two goals before substitute, Moses Simon netted the third goal to all but end Seychelles’ dream of an equaliser.
