The Anambra State Head of Service Barrister Harry Uduh has stressed the need for an improved Internally Revenue IGR in the state.

Speaking to Journalists shortly after the state Executive Council Meeting at the Government House Awka, the Head of Service said all hands must be on deck to ensure that all leakages were
blocked.

He said the plethora of gigantic projects across the state underscored the importance of generating more funds to be able to meet the service of the state.

The Head of Service added that every person under the employ of the state government must have the mindset to yield IGR for the state and anyone instrumental to any form of leakages would face a summary treatment.

Barrister Uduh however emphasized the need for workers to be productive as well as contribute their quota in growing internally generated revenue to enable government to respond proactively to their needs.

The Head of Service also congratulated Governor Willie Obiano on his fifth anniversary saying that the governor was more focused on the legacies he would bequeath Ndi-Anambra while urging the citizenry to continue to support and remain loyal to his administration.
