The Emergence of an only woman amongst the thirty elected law makers for the Seventh Anambra State House of Assembly calls for gratitude to God.
This was the reason why the member representing Onitsha South Constituency Two, Mrs Beverly Nkemdiche Ikpeazu, was accompanied to Christ The King Parish Onitsha, by family members, friends and well wishers to thank God for His benevolence and victory at the just concluded House of Assembly election in the State.
The Thanksgiving took another dimension when a woman shows that what a man can do, She can do better by using a flute to praise God as all the wards in Onitsha South Constituency Two gathered at the Mrs Nkemdiche Ikpeazu’s Constituency Office, at Oguta road Onitsha for a
thank-you reception.
The Lawmaker in her speech thanked God for the victory and the people of her constituency for voting for APGA and for having confidence in her assuring them of more quality representation.
For the former member that represented Onitsha South Constituency Two at the State House Assembly Mr Obiorah Chukwuka, Mrs Nkemdiche Ikpeazu is a gift to her Constituency, adding that her good representation has made the people of Odoakpu to vote her in, for the third time.
In a speech the Vice Chairman of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA, in Anambra North Senatorial District, Chief Chinedu Nnatuanya, APGA Secretary in Onitsha South Local Government Area, Mr Noel Udorji and Director General of her Campaign Organization, Mr Ifechukwukwulu Okosieme said Mrs Nkemdiche Ikpeazu has touched many lives in the Constituency.
Earlier in a homily, the Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Parish Onitsha, Reverend father Godwin Okolo, maintained that for one to attain greatness is by Divine providence.
The event also featured empowerment and cutting of birthday cake by Mrs Nkemdiche Ikpeazu.
