The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Liaison Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu, has charged community leaders to always enlighten their people on the need to safeguard government facilities around them.

Speaking to the ABS in Awka, Chief Egwuonwu who lamented over the constant vandalization of government facilities by the people reminded them that they contributed in putting up such facilities through tax payment and called on them to take its full ownership.

He called on Media Practitioners to use their various platforms in educating the public on the need to support government programmes and policies for enhanced development of the State.

Chief Egwuonwu while commending Governor Willie Obiano for all his people oriented programmes maintained that series of Awards being received by the Governor was as a result of good governance.

He called on the youths to embrace the agricultural programme of the Obiano administration to ensure food security in addition to being self reliant.

Chief Egwuonwu urged Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers to the Obiano administration.
