The Grand Patron of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Dr. Anthony Enukeme has called on Ndi Anambra to see the development of the state as a collective responsibility.
He made the call while speaking to the ABS at his country home Neni in Anaocha local Government Area.
According to Dr. Enukeme, the people of the state should not leave it’s development to the government alone.
He maintained that since government has provided basic infrastructure such as roads, the citizenry should assist the government in its routine maintenance.
Dr. Enukeme while extolling Governor Willie Obiano for regular payment of workers salary and pension and gratuity to retirees, called on Ndi Anambra to continue with their support and prayers to his administration.
He called for the provision of more refuse receptacles across the state especially in Anaocha LGA for effective waste disposals to check the excesses of those who normally deface the environment.
On industrialization, Dr. Enukeme, urged the Central Bank to see how to reduce the high interest rate charged by commercial banks on loans and overdraft to ensure the growth of indigenous firms.
The community leader called on the people to use the period of Easter to embark on programs that will bring lasting peace and development to their various Communities.
