Residents of Nkpor Urban in Idemili North Local Government Area are lamenting the lack of electricity.
In an interview, a Caterer in the area, Mrs Eucharia Eneanya, said there has been total blackout since the Easter celebration.
According to her, this is not good enough considering the huge amount people pay as electricity bills and yet do not enjoy light, adding that with the current harsh economic condition in the country people need electricity to preserve whatever they could.
When contacted the Feeder Manager in charge of Nkpor Urban, Mr Martin Ejidike apologised to consumers in the area, stressing that their installation developed minor problems during the Easter period.
He said EEDC is prepared to satisfy its customers pointing out that unforeseen circumstances at times disrupt their operations but assured that lights will be restored as soon as possible
