The Panel of Inquiry set up by the State government on the traditional stool crisis in Ihiala, is calling for a memoranda from concerned citizens of the affected community.
The memoranda which will be in eight copies must reach the office of the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Government House Awka on or before close of work on Monday sixth May 2019.
A statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the panel, Chief Paul Odenigbo and Secretary Mr Boniface Ezelefeanya, says that the panel will commence public hearing from Wednesday eight till Friday tenth May 2019, beginning at ten o’clock in the morning at the conference Hall Government House Awka.
According to the statement, the panel shall continue its sitting on daily basis from Monday thirteenth May 2019 at ten o’clock in the morning until the assignment is completed.
