The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Pharmaceutical Matters, Pharm. Chibuzor Okaa says health remains paramount to the Willie Obiano administration.
Pharmacist Okaa stated this during a medical outreach by the National Association of Industrial Pharmacists held in Omor, Ayamelum Local Government Area.
Pharmacist Okaa thanked the Association for choosing Anambra State as the venue for their twenty second Annual National Conference, which he attributed to the adequate security
architecture of the present administration.
Pharmacist Okaa who is a member of the Association said that what they are doing is in line with what Governor Obiano is doing in the Health Sector, adding that the governor has done well for the pharmaceutical industry in the state since he assumed office and thanked the Association for giving back to the society.
The National Chairman, of the Association, Pharm. Ignatius Anukwu explained that the exercise was part of programmes slated to mark their twenty second Annual National Conference holding in the state and listed some of the challenges facing the profession.
The traditional ruler of Omor, Igwe Chris Chidume thanked the Association for choosing the community for the outreach, which he said will help to improve the health condition of his people.
Two of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Josephine Nwadiogbu and Michael Nwabunwanne thanked the Association for bringing health services to them free of charge and prayed God to strengthen them.
Members of the Association had on arrival at the community, paid a courtesy call to the traditional ruler of the community Igwe Chidume.
