The Anambra State Government has consoled the family of Aniuno of Umuoji over the death of their son and father, Honourable Patrick Aniulo
The Governor was speaking during a valedictory session for the late Lawmaker presided over by the Speaker of the State Assembly, Barrister Rita Mmaduagwu held at the Anambra State House of Assembly Complex, Awka.
Before his death, Late Patrick Aniuno was the member representing Onitsha Constituency One at the State House Assembly.
Speaking shortly after the brief session, Governor Willie Obiano eulogized late Aniuno as a perfect gentleman, asking his family to entrust their faith in God to lead their path to great
glory and height.
Earlier, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Mmaduagwu described him as an outstanding Legislator and great achiever, who had outstanding relations with his constituents, stressing that he made impressive marks in projects and empowerment, urging his family members to bear the loss with hope.
In appreciation on behalf of the family, one of the brothers of the deceased, Mr Olisah Aniuno appreciated all who are standing with them in this time of need.
Some of his colleagues who took turns to speak including Honourable Nkemdiche Ikpazu representing Onitsha South Constituency Two, and Honourable Chigbo Enwezo representing Onitsha North Constituency one, said the late Patrick Aniuno believed in sacrifice which was the
reason he made a lot of commitments to touch the lives of his constituents.
Also in attendance are Secretaty to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, members of the State House of Assembly, members of the State Executive Council, family, friends and well wishers.
