Construction work is advancing at the Anambra International Conference Centre Awka.
The ten thousand capacity standard Conference Centre being undertaken by the state government will attract investments into the state and help create employment opportunities.
Speaking to the ABS crew that visited the site, the Manager of the contracting firm in charge of the project, Engineer Abiola Kolawole explained that the foundation has been completed and the first floor of the building has commenced.
While appreciating Governor Willie Obiano for his immense support and collaboration towards the completion of the project, Engineer Kolawole, also shared some challenges they face at the site.
The construction of the International Conference Centre which commenced in July 2018, is expected to be completed by the year 2020
