The Awka Capital Territory Development Authority has charged the citizenry to always make adequate use of receptors designated at various sites around Awka the State Capital for refuse collection.
In a statement in Awka, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa maintained that the authority is poised to carry out the directive of Governor Willie Obiano to upgrade and maintain beautification of standard urban spaces across the State.
The Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, equally charged the residents and proprietors of Business Premises within the Awka Capital Territory to ensure that the over grown grasses around their premises are cut and kept clean warning them against dumping of refuse in grass grown areas.
The statement maintained that those who violate the order on waste management across the State, will face the full weight of the law.
