A team from the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria, RATTAWU, from NTA Channel 6 Aba, and NTA Channel 21, Umuahia yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Chief Uche Nworah at the Corporate Headquarters of the establishment in Awka.

The visit was to, among other things, seek the support and collaboration of ABS management on the forthcoming South East Zonal Conference of the union which will be hosted in Anambra State.

The team was lead to the visit by the Abia State Council Secretary of RATTAWU, Comrade Solomon Prince.

Addressing the visitors, Chief Nworah who spoke on the need for programme exchange, professional collaboration and self improvement and reassured on the pledge of the establishment to support the conference of the union .

In his remarks, the National Vice President of RATTAWU, South East Zone, Prince Emeka Kalu, applauded Chief Nworah for his exploits as the ABS boss, and in lending support to the Union, stating that Anambra State is the most ideal place for the conference.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Comrade Solomon, said partnership with the ABS is paramount to the success of the conference given its reach, accessibility and quality media service delivery.

Present at the visit was the Senior Special Assistant to the Anambra State Governor on Media, Mr Emeka Ozumba, who also gave the delegation a tip for progressive work model in the twenty-first century work environment.

Others were the Head of Administration, ABS, Comrade Tina Ekenta, and a former National Vice President, South East Zone of the Union, Comrade Don Onyenji
