As Muslim faithful in Anambra join their counterparts world over to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, the member representing Njikoka Two Constituency in the state House of Assembly Dr. Pete Ibida has urged them to always adhere to the tenets of their religion.
Dr. Ibida stated this while interacting with newsmen at the ABS Corporate Headquarters Awka.
According to Dr. Ibida, the Muslim faithf are expected to do more to ensure that there is peaceful co-existence and social cohesion among all ethnic, political and religious groups as a way of maintaining one Nigeria.
Speaking on the issue of Federal Government projects in the state, the Lawmaker commended President Mohammed Buhari for the quality work on the ongoing construction of the Second Niger
Bridge and the Enugu-Onitsha Express Road where work is in top gear.
Dr. Ibida rated the Buhari led administration high in dispensation of democracy dividents to the grassroots.
