The traditional ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu, Igwe Sir Ralph Ekpeh, has inaugurated the Enugwu-Ukwu Igu-Aro Commission.
Inaugurating the Commission in his palace at Enugwu-Ukwu, Igwe Ekpeh charged them to work towards delivering an annual world class event that will showcase the rich culture and tradition of Ndi Enugwu-Ukwu to the world.
While naming Chief Pat Nwume as the new chairman of the Commission and Frank Nwokike as the Secretary, Igwe Sir Ralph announced Chief Philip Nworji, chairman, Enugwu-Ukwu Ilu-Ogbo Commission as the Vice Chairman among fourteen other members.
However, the chairmen and members of various subcommittees in Enugwu-Ukwu were also adopted to assist.
Responding on behalf of the Commission, the chairman, Chief Nwume thanked Igwe Sir Ralph for the confidence reposed in them and promised to serve diligently.
