The State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Ogechukwu Okpala as Commissioner nominee for Health .
The House confirmed his appointment during yesterday’s plenary.
The House also confirmed the appointment of Mr. Douglas Okafor as the Managing Director and Superintendent General, nominee, Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHABRIGADE).
The House confirmed their appointment following a report presented to that effect by the Chairman, House Committee on Screening, Sir Hafford Oseke.
He informed the House that after thorough screening of the nominees, his committee found them suitably qualified to occupy the positions respectively.
Thereafter, the Speaker of the House, Mrs. Rita Maduagwu read out their confirmation while members of the House supported it through voice vote.
