A member of the Nigeria Football Federation executive committee, Aisha Falode, has tasked the Super Falcons to be proactive when they face group leaders France in their final group game against Women’s World Cup today.

The Falcons who have recorded one win and a loss from two games at the tournament, need at least a point to advance to the round of 16.

The Falcons 2-0 win over Korea Republic last Wednesday was the first time in twenty years that they won a World Cup match by more than one goal, and was also the first win by an African team at France 2019.
