The member representing Njikoka Two Constituency at Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Pete Ibida on Sunday led members of the State House of Assembly and State Executive Council to a thanksgiving mass in appreciation  of God’s blessings to   his family. 
The thanksgiving mass  was officiated by Most Reverend Peter Okpalaeke held at the family compound of Dr. Ibida at Egbengwu, Nimo, Njikoka Local Government Area. House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim was there and  reports that  the celebrant  danced to the altar in company of his colleagues and family members to offer thanks to the Lord. In a homily, Most Reverend Okpalaeke ascribed the re-election victory of Dr. Ibida to the Mercy of God upon his life. The Catholic Prelate enjoined the Seventh Anambra State House of Assembly to work for the common good of the people, which he noted is the reason their constituents found them worthy to represent them,as every man will give an account of his stewardship before God. In a vote of thanks, the Celebrant, Dr. Ibida explained that his thanksgiving mass was to thank God who made it possible for him to perform exceedingly well as a Legislator in the last four years and to dedicate his second term mandate to God.Dr.Ibida who used the thanksgiving mass to dedicate his second term victory to God, assured the people of Njikoka Two Constituency that he would surpass his previous achievements in the next four years he will represent them at the State House of Assembly. 
In an interview, the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr. Uchenna Okafor who participated in the thanksgiving mass thanked Ndi Anambra for voting APGA overwhelmingly in the just concluded State Constituency election, assuring that the Seventh Assembly will justify the confidence reposed in them. In their separate remarks, the member representing Njikoka One Constituency, Dr. Timothy Ifedioramma, his Ihiala Two Counterpart, Honourable Chidi Udemmadu described Dr. Ibida as a humble, courageous, and God fearing Leader who had impacted lives positively.
