The Super Eagles of  Nigeria has become the first team to qualify for the next stage of the African Cup of Nations currently ongoing in Egypt.

The Nigeria Team secured their place in the round sixteen of the competition after their one-zero win over their rival Guinea in the group B match played yesterday.

The Super Eagles secured a narrow win to qualify for the next round with a late header by defender Keneth Omeruo at the seventy-third minute of the game.
Although the Nigeria players played well having had the most possession and attempts on goal during the match, there is need for more improvement by the team as Nigerians are expecting a better performance.

The three time champion will play their final group match against Madagascar next week.
