Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, and founder of the NGO – Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFÉ), Dr. (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme), has condoled with the National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Chief Victor Oye and family on the death of their daughter whom she noted was a young mother in her prime.

In a condolence message to Chief Oye and family, Dr. Mrs Obiano stated that she was deeply saddened on receipt of news of the sudden demise of Chief Oye’s “beloved daughter, late Chinenye Barbara Amaechi (Nee Oye). The news came as a shock and source of grief.” The Governor’s wife sent her Condolence Message on behalf of the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (her NGO) and the entire women of Anambra State.

According to Mrs. Obiano: “Your loving daughter, Chinenye, was full of life the last time I saw her, and was obviously doing well in her young family. It was more shocking because you showed no indication that such tragedy was threatening when we recently spent few days together at the city of Orange, New Jersey, USA. I have no doubt that her death has left a vacuum in your lives but my prayer is that God Almighty consoles you all in this time of grief.”

Further consoling the Oyes, Osodieme stated that, “ideally it is expected that children should mourn their parents, but I urge you to be consoled by the eternal words of Saint Mother Theresa who observed that “Death is nothing else but going home to God, the bond of love will be unbroken for all eternity.”

She prayed that God Almighty gives the Oyes the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
