The recently inaugurated Dobe Anambra Ocha campaign has continued to attract positive commendations.
Some of the respondents while commending Governor Willie Obiano for
the initiative maintained that it will ensure clean and healthy environment in various parts of the State.
Speaking to the ABS on the Dobe Anambra Ocha campaign, the President-General of Neni Town Union, in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Chukwudi Mbonu maintained that the inauguration of the Dobe Anambra Ocha campaign is a clear testament that Governor Obiano
is committed to improving the living standards of the people.
Chief Mbonu, while describing health as wealth, called on Ndi Anambra to embrace the Dobe Anambra Ocha initiative of the Obiano administration and other people oriented programmes and policies of the government for enhanced development of the State.
Chief Mbonu, used the opportunity to call on the State citizenry to continue with their support and prayers for Governor Obiano to enable him deliver on his mandate.
On their parts, the President-General of Ogboji Town Union in Orumba South Local Government Area, Mr Michael Obidike as well as a one-time President-General of Nise Town Union in Awka South Local Government Area, Chief Chris Onor, charged Ndi Anambra to make proper use of the receptacles put in place by the government instead of engaging in
indiscriminate dumping of refuse, which they noted defaces the environment and commended Governor Willie Obiano, for placing high premium on the welfare of the citizenry.
