Ndiowu Community Project Management Committee, CPMC, and Sub-committee members have received over one point four million naira cheque from Anambra state Community and Social Development Agency, World Bank assisted.


The money, which is the first thirty percent of the over five million naira total cost, is for the construction of Coppers lodge at community secondary school Ndiowu.


Ebele Ezeh reports that while presenting the cheque to the chairman, Ndiowu CPMC, Honourable Emezie Nwangene at Ndiowu Town Hall before their sons and daughters including other stakeholder, the General Manager, Anambra state Community and Social Development Agency World Bank-assisted, Mr. Chudi Mojekwu announced that the agency is saddled with the responsibility of empowering communities that declare interest in the programme.


Mr. Mojekwu reminded Ndiowu Community of their own cash contribution of over five hundred thousand naira in cash or materials . He urged them to expedite action, complete the project in record time, take full ownership of the project and commence another one as funds are available . In their various speeches, the President General, Ndiowu Town Union, Mr. Abednego Okoli and their CPMC chairman, Mr. Nwangene, while passing a vote of confidence in the committees, assured the timely fulfilment of their contribution and judicious use of the funds.
