For none political actors, 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election appears far.However, this is not so for those that have their eyes on race, as activities are gradually building up in preparation.No wonder some persons have started positioning themselves in their parties as well as defecting to other political parties, where they think their chances are brighter.Correspondent, Ngozi Obileri visited the state party office of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and reports that political activities are gathering momentum.
Just over the weekend, the PPA former Governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Ezemo, formally joined the PDP, with over five thousand supporters.

Mrform.Political observers in and around the state described the move as capable of winding up the PPA in the state.Meanwhile, the Anambra state chairman of PDP, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu, applauded the decision of Mr. Ezemo to run under their platform saying that the party is ready to welcome whoever that is willing to join them.Chief Nwobu promised to run a transparent primary election, even as he vowed that the party will deal decisively with anyone who will engage in anti party activities.
