The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entered into between Anambra State government and M-P Infrastructure Ltd is set to be actualized, beginning with the official handover of major take-off assets by the promoters of the project, M-P Infrastructure Ltd to the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) set up for the purpose, known as Awka Millennium Development Company Ltd (AMDCL).

According to the Group CEO of M-P Infrastructure Ltd, Dr. Clem Nwogbo, the Sales and Marketing office of Awka Millennium City project opens for business immediately after the handover of the take-off assets. The office is located at Number 50 Ifite road, off Aroma junction, Awka.

Continuing, Dr. Nwogbo said; “We consider this as the 2nd but critical milestone in the short operational life of the Awka Millenium City project. The first being the MOU signing with the government of Anambra State on Tuesday, June 19, 2019. Today’s event is a major milestone in our vision to build a world class smart city in Awka, comparable to what is obtainable in similar cities in Lagos, Abuja, Europe and America etc”.
He concluded that the AMC project is at its current stage “because of the wonderful support and leadership provided by His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano and the Anambra State government”. He thanked His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano “for the speedy approvals, advice and listening ear”.

The inauguration of the Sales and Marketing office will by performed by His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra State who will be represented by the Secretary to the Anambra state, government Anambra State, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu.
