The traditional ruler of Enugu-Ukwu, Igwe Ralph Ekpeh has called for the establishment of mechanic village in major cities of the state.
Igwe Ekpeh in a press statement while assessing the development of the state since its creation in 1991 noted that establishing the mechanic villages will improve the aesthetic beauty of the state.
The royal Father warned against indiscriminate dumping of refuse at unauthorized places noting that it defaces the environment and constitutes a clog in the wheels of progress of the environment friendly Obiano led administration.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano for his sound security network and street lightning project describing them as some of the hallmark of his administration.
In a related development, a former Deputy Chairman, Awka South local government area, Barrister Chike Oranye commended Governor Obiano for his security network.
