Development strides of the Willie Obiano administration, especially in landmark projects has been lauded by Nzuko Umunna, an Igbo socio-cultural organisation.

Members of the association paid a courtesy call on Governor Willie Obiano at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.

The group which is a think tank Igbo organization comprise notable ndi Igbo who have excelled in their various areas of calling and endeavour.

They have been in the State for two days and toured different completed and ongoing projects of the present administration.

Speaking shortly after a closed door with the Governor, leader of the group, Chief Patrick Chidolue pointed out that bearing in mind, the development of the socio-economic integration of ndi Igbo as one, they are organizing a retreat of ndi Igbo in the South East region in Ebonyi later this year, which he explained is the major reason for their visit to the Governor.

Chief Chidolue who pointed out that the body was set up to articulate blueprint of ndi Igbo for atleast fifty years, to serve as a guide to incoming Governors, noted that Governor Obiano’s policies brought most of them back home to invest, saying that having toured some projects in the State, they witnessed alot of overwhelming advancements.

He mentioned that the Governor hinted that the State government airport project will be concluded before the end of his tenure, as well as the ongoing International Conference Centre, among other projects, asking the Governor to continue in well doing.
