Management of Ebeonadi FM, Ogidi, has declared its intention to
collaborate with the state government to accelerate economic
growth and development, through proper information dissemination.
The General Manager, Ebeonadi FM, Mr. Ubaka Onwuanibe stated this
during a courtesy visit on the Commissioner for Information and Public
Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba in his office at the Jerome Udoji
secretariat Awka.
In his speech , Mr. Onwuanibe identified the media as a strong platform for public enlightenment, stressing that Ebeonadi FM is ready to work with
the state government through the Ministry of Information and Public
Enlightenment to keep the citizenry well informed about government
activities and the rich cultural heritage of the state among others.
Talking on the recent change of name from Gist FM to Ebeonadi FM, Mr.
Onwuanibe said that the station as a promoter of Igbo culture deserves
a name that befits its ideology.
Responding, Mr. Adinuba assured them of a level playing ground to operate.
On her part, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs. Obiageli
Umeadi, who noted that team work yields better result, enjoined them
to maintain cordial relationship with the state government.
In a vote of thanks, a staff of the station, Miss Divine Bosah assured
that they will deliver their services for the interest of the masses.
