The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, Most Reverend Nicolas Oko has said that Diocese on the Niger is where the church of Nigeria will always look for man power.

Most Reverend Oko, who stated this during a special service that commemorated the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new Bishop’s court at the All Saint’s Cathedral, Onitsha, urged priests to strive and keep their names in gold.

He reminded them of the transient nature of time saying if they fail to make impact at the required time, the privilege will be taken away from them.

The Primate, while commending Bishop Nwokolo for initiating meaningful programmes for the Diocese, charged them not to forget their position in the church of Nigeria.

The chairman, Bishop’s Court Building Committee, Sir Okechukwu Ejelue said the Diocese under Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo has grown in leaps and bounds and assured Most Rev Oko that the Diocese will never relent in propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ and his teachings to the world.
Cutting of cake, unveiling of plaque and the foundation stone laying ceremony by the Primate, climaxed the special service.
