Anambra State Internal Revenue Service says enforcement for fake
drivers’ and conductors badges by Vehicle Inspection  Officers, VIO,
Anambra Traffic Management Agency ATMA, and Operation Clean and
Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade will commence on second of next Month.
This is contained in a release signed by the Deputy Director, Head,
Taxpayer Education and Enlightenment Team Anambra State Internal
Revenue Service Mrs Sylvia Tochukwu-Ngige.


The release advised all motorists and conductors in the State to
beware of fake drivers and conductors badges and stop patronizing
unauthorized persons who sell these badges.


It is also asking drivers and conductors yet to obtain the original
badges to go to any motor licencing office of their choice in Anambra
state to purchase the badges.


The release further warned that in accordance with the provision of
the law, severe sanction awaits any driver or conductor that fails to
comply with the law.
