Medical Team From USA Concludes Free Health Services In Nibo Community.
The two day medical mission embarked upon by a team of medical experts from the United States of America in Nibo, Anambra State has come to a successful conclusion.
The exercise which was held at the Nibo Primary Health Centre, Awka South Local Government Area, attracted both young and old from the community, Anambra State and other South East States at large.
Speaking to the ABS, the leader of the team which operate under the auspices of Resurrection House for all Nations, Dr. Onwurah Mike Obiekwe, said that they attended to so many people with various ailments such as diabetes, malaria, ulcer, hypertension, dental and eye problems among others.
Dr. Obiekwe revealed that they have successfully had twelve surgeries, twenty six ophthalmology cases, distribution of eye glasses and that their mission is is to compliment what the Anambra state is doing in the health sector.
The Chairman, organizing Committee of the free medical exercise, retired justice Chinyere Anigbogu, described the exercise as great and monumental, adding that the community is excited, as well as all those that benefited from the program.
Two of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Esther Mba from Ebonyi State and Mrs. Ezeanade Oluchukwu from Enugu State, prayed God to bless the medical team for their service to humanity.
