Anambra State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has advised Motorcycle and Tricycle operators across the State to visit any Road Safety Drivers Licensing Centre to commence the processes of obtaining their Class ‘A’ drivers licence.Its Sector Commander, Mr. Andrew Kumapayi who gave the advice in an interview with Abuchi Nwozor warned that any operator of both Tricycle or Motor cycle without the above licence, will have his vehicle impounded and the owner made to pay the necessary fine as enshrined in the Road Safety law.Mr. Kumapayi, who said that the enforcement of drivers licence and vehicle number plates for tricycle and motor cycle operators, commenced nation-wide on second of this month, added that the exercise apart from making the Road Safety have a comprehensive data base of all Motor cycle and Tricycle operators will equally enhance security of life and property.The State Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, commended the Anambra State Government for its support and maintained that it will collaborate with other relevant agencies across the State to ensure sanity on the highways.Mr. Kumapayi used the opportunity to advise motorists to always obey traffic rules and regulation to reduce accidents on the roads.
