Members of Parliament in Britain will have a special sitting this
Saturday to decide on the future of Brexit.
The sitting is the last chance for Britain and European Union to reach
an accord ahead of the thirty-first October deadline.
If a deal is agreed, Mr Boris Johnson will ask Members of Parliament
to approve it but if not, a range of options could be presented.
The Prime Minister said he is determined that Britain will leave the
European Union on thirty-first October, despite legislation, known as
the Benn Act, which requires him to write to the European Union
requesting a further delay if a deal is not signed by Parliament by
the nineteenth of this Month.
The House of Commons has only sat on four Saturdays since 1939,
including on second September that year, due to the outbreak of World
War Two.
The last time there was a Saturday sitting was third April 1982, due
to the invasion of the Falkland Islands.
