The Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Onitsha, has honoured
Governor Willie Obiano with an award of excellence in recognition of
his style of governance and service to Ndi Anambra.

Governor Obiano received the award during the twentieth Episcopal
anniversary celebration of Right Reverend Belonwu Livinus Onuagha,

ensuring that Anambra maintains lead in security and other sectors of

present bad road challenges in the state, the Governor said that IDC
Construction Company has already been deployed to handle dilapidated
roads around Onitsha immediately after the rains, while arrangements
are on to deploying other construction companies to handle same
challenge in other parts of the state.

Earlier in a sermon, an invited Evangelist, Reverend Umah Okpai while
describing lack of God’s knowledge as the greatest problem of man,
charged Christians to always believe in the ability and supernatural
power of God, as according to him no situation can stand the divine
power of God.

Reverend Ukpai further encouraged Christians to always be conscious of
their position in Jesus Christ and never to be afraid of problems and
challenges of life which he said must come to every human irrespective
of belief.
